We Glow
A journey to uncovering your highest self.
In the current society, it alarmed me as to what so many women go through in pursuit of what they perceive health to be. The society we live in has created a distorted perception of what it means to be healthy. Often prioritising external health over internal health.
The measures some women adopt to achieve this picture of "health" often leads to further underlying issues. Which then unravels the backwards approach of the health care system... great for acute care, but why are we not focusing on prevention, education and optimal health. Instead we are thrown the band-aid solution to cover up what our body is truly telling us.
We deserve to lead an abundant and healthy life, which starts from the inside, our mind, body & soul.
Education is the key to empowerment
We Glow Wellness focuses on education to empower women to be confident and take control of their own life.
We should have control over our own body, be educated and informed to make choices, understand how to listen to and support our body and importantly, be happy, confident and thrive as the unique women we are.
You are unique
Each one of us are individual. No single plan, approach or treatment will work the same for everyone. We Glow Wellness prioritises a completely personalised approach to supporting women for sustainable health.
Our lives are complex, it's important to look at all factors, beyond the surface level.
My Approach
Holistic Health
The term holistic relates to the belief that the parts of something are intimately interconnected and explained only by reference to the whole. Transferring this to our health, it means to look beyond the physical body, at the whole person: body, mind & spirit.
We can look at holistic health in 5 different areas
1. physical (body and environment)
2. emotional
3. social
4. spiritual
5. mental & intellectual
The relationship between all pillars of health undeniably highlight the fact that elements of health are inseparable. If one area is compromised, others will likely be too.
We can't just look at one aspect, without considering others.
You know you're body better than anyone
You are more than your symptoms, your diagnosis and the numbers on the scale or your recent test. You know your body better than anyone.
We should learn to listen to our body to learn how to best support it. Symptoms can tell us a lot, they are you're body's way of communicating to you that something's not right.
The Root Cause
Around 3 in 5 people are reliant on prescription medication.
Around 1 in 2 people experience a chronic illness.
This itself shows that uncovering the root cause instead of relying on a band-aid solution is the optimum key to longevity.
